Spilling Over
(Just One More)
“Spilling Over (Just One More)” explores fast fashion and overconsumption through a personal yet relatable perspective. The work presents an overflowing wardrobe that symbolises how clothing can dominate both physical and mental space within the bedroom. What begins as a familiar domestic setting becomes increasingly chaotic as garments spill beyond drawers, suggesting a loss of control linked to compulsive consumption. The stop-motion animation exaggerates this idea by animating the clothes as if they are invading the space. A playful tone and upbeat music contrast with the visual chaos, reflecting how overconsumption is normalised. The project encourages reflection on habits of “just one more” purchase.
